The local electric potential (V) in two dimension (2D)

The Numerical Method

The electric filed (E) is related to the voltage potential (V) or so called electrostatic potential:

E = – \Delta . V

The problem of determining voltage filed is based on the definition of the applied boundary conditions on the confined domain. Experimentally, usually the input filed and output field with the induced current density are known at the in/out of the domain. Hence, a boundary value problem may be formed as:
